Email: howlin4spirit@gmail.com OR www.howlin4spirit.org/adoption-application/ for application or to request more pictures and videos. BOZ: dob: Feb 9, 2014...weighs ~60lbs Adoption fee: $125(includes: neutered, micro-chip, up to date with Parvo-Distemper-Lepto, Lyme, Bordatella, and Rabies vax, current on heart worm, flea-tick and internal parasite prevention, health certificate-issued within 5 days of transport). HOUSEBROKEN! &, truly WANTS TO PLEASE!! LOVES THE WATER!!!!! SWIMS like a CHAMP! LOVES to RUN, RUN, RUN and PLAY! Wooded trails are BOZ's forte'! Very loving and friendly, but too energetic for small children, cats and any fragile/older dogs. BIG DOGS=OK! OLDER KIDS=OK! Boz was adopted from Howlin4Spirit by a family of stay-at-home mom of 4 young boys(last boy born 10mos after Boz was adopted), dad was gone from home 12hrs a day and was the only one who truly bonded with Boz. They walked together 2X day, but it wasn't big enough for a growing pup>young adult male needs(& the 4 small boys-they needed their jungle-gym and slide). So, Boz is seeking a situation where he will get more exercise, plus the love and leadership he needs to be all that he can be! LOTS of potential and UNconditional love just waiting for the right person with NO SMALL CHILDREN and ROOM TO RUN! we will be happy to send you more videos and pix, upon request! 8/15/17 10:40 PM

Thank you, for choosing to adopt a rescued pup. ARAMIS is such a sweetheart. Housebroken. dob: March 17, 2015..neutered/micro-chipped male, BORDER COLLIE X....LOVES/NEEDS to run!!!! NOT good with cats or small, hyper-active children(experienced and respectful children 12+yr-OK!. PLEASE, copy and paste the application provided below into a new email, answer each question thoroughly, and send to howlin4spirit@gmail.com This pup is in and will remain in foster care in Rutherfordton, NC(where they were rescued from) until their adoption is approved. Upon request, we will be happy to send you more videos and pictures of this pup interacting with her H4S buddies, to help you get a better understanding of their personality and activity level and how they interact with their people and other pups. ARAMIS We think he had an issue with his past owner when he started working AWAY from the home and they tried crating him...so, they ended up taking him to doggie daycare where he thrived, but it must have gotten too expensive for their current income and so sadly they chose to give him back to H4S, instead. He LOVES other dogs and has a high-energy level and NEEDS LOTS and LOTS of running room and exercise with other dogs. His trust in humans has been compromised by past owners who were stressed and he became VERY sensitive to their mood swings, so would escape their fenced-in(3 1/2'h backyard) to go play with the neighbor's dogs. NEEDS a young, active and athletic person(prefers women) to be his person. Sorry! NO APTS & NO HOMES WITHOUT A LG 6' h stockade FENCED YARD. Other pups-relative's/neighbor's dog or a dog park would be 'EXCELLENT'. Someone he can share 'CHASE ME' with! He LOVES to RUN/PLAY!! BEST with an active early retiree or active work-from-home person. LOVES women..but, is willing/open to befriend a man, IF they aren't aggressive, impatient, angry, type A personality! Gets along great with rescue 'dad' who is easy-going, loves to walk in the woods and has a calm, gentle demeanor. Last person had a son who was submissive and happy to sit on his butt and play video game all day/night long, who didn't interact with Aramis and so never truly bonded with him. Owner read more into Aramis' way of saying 'let's play' and was over-protective of the son who shied away from Aramis....so between the change in income and the son's inability to have a relationship with Aramis, they decided that he needed to come back to Howlin4Spirit and find the RIGHT-FITTING fur-ever family, instead. So, here we are! Aramis is enjoying playing with all the other dogs at H4S, but he really does need a special person/home to call his own. Good watchdog! LOVES to sleep NEXT to/ON your bed, if allowed. Completely housebroken! Gets along well with all sexes and sizes of other dogs. WANTS TO PLEASE! Obedient. Knows 'no', 'sit' and 'down'. Completed 1st obedience training course, per past Mom who loved him enough to take him through the course...a shame the rest of the family didn't appreciate/make time for him, also! adoption fee: $150(includes up to date on Rabies, Bordatella and Parvo-Distemper/Lepto vax, parasite-free, all medical paperwork from day#1 at H4S, Martingale collar & 6' leash, beef knee cap bone, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, current health certificate-issued within 3 days of transport, 'RESCUED DOGS ROCK' car magnet). Transport is provided by Save Them All OR Happy Dog(bonded and licensed) rescued dog & cat transport...their fee is $100 as far N as NYC/Long Island and $125 to all points N of NYC as far as Manchester, NH and Syracuse, NY...to be paid by the adopter to the driver at the time of delivery-EVERY SATURDAY! Where there is a scent hound or guardian breed being considered for adoption, & in homes where children reside or will be visiting, a secured(not electric) fenced-in yard is required. All potential adopters are required to be at least 25 yrs and complete the application below, at your earliest convenience, to help secure the pup of your choice. Thank you, for caring enough to consider adopting a rescued pup in need of love, respect and a warm place to lay it's head fur-ever. NALA(dob 03/17/15) was taken in by a young couple who saw her through the birth of her litter after being abandoned in a rural community in Rutherford Co, NC. When the pups were old enough to leave Mom(NALA), they asked the mail carrier if she could help them find homes for them. Having worked with/fostered for our rescue in the past, she immediately called us. YES! We had plenty of room for them. Then, when she brought the pups to me, she showed me a picture of sweet Mom chained to a tree(NALA). I asked her if she thought they'd let me find a home for her and she say, 'God, yes!' So, NALA sweet baby-girl has come here to help her find her a RESPONSIBLE and appreciative FAMILY of her very own(which she aptly deserves). As stated, she is VERY SWEET(see videos), friendly, outgoing, happy and healthy and possesses a wonderfully playful, loving and devoted demeanor. HOUSEBROKEN. Walks well on a 'Gentle Leader' and is housebroken and crate-trained. She is best suited for a home with a fenced-in yard, or rural setting with another medium>large fur-buddy to run and play with. Wants to be/enjoy life with her person, wants to please and snuggle against her favorite person at night but satisfied with her own sleeping area/crate IF required. Would make an excellent hiking/running buddy for an active person. NOT a couch potato, but enjoys snuggling with her people immensely, at the end of the day. Gets along well with other M>LG dogs...best with NO cats and no small people(too energetic at her young age, might playfully tip them over). This pup is in and will remain in foster care in Rutherfordton, NC until the following SATURDAY after her fur-ever family/person is approved. Upon request, we will be happy to send you more videos and pictures of this pup interacting with her H4S buddies, to help you get a better understanding of their personality and activity level and how they interact with their people and other pups. PLEASE, copy and paste the application provided below into a new email, answer each question thoroughly(the more/detailed info, the better your chances of being approved), and send to howlin4spirit@gmail.com --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adoption fee: $125 iincludes spay, micro-chip, Parvo-Distemper-Lepto, Bordatella and 1 yr Rabies vaccinations, parasite-free, current on monthly heart worm and flea/tick prevention, Martingale collar and leash, and current health certificate (issued within 3 days prior to transport). Where there is a scent hound or guardian breed being considered for adoption, & in homes where children reside or will be visiting, a secured(not electric) fenced-in yard is required. All potential adopters are required to be at least 25 yrs old and complete the application below, at your earliest convenience, to help secure the pup of your choice. Thank you, for caring enough to consider adopting a rescued pup in need of love, respect and a warm place to lay it's head fur-ever. KAYCE is a Chihuahua/Mtn FeistX 1.5yo, date of birth: ~November 22, 2015. Kayce(Black and brn brindle) weighs 11lbs. Kayce is a sweet, a bit timid and independent yet very open to gentle, kind humans when she learns to trust. She was rescued from an outdoor kennel where she and her sister, Leisel, had lived their entire lives. Howlin4spirit rescued and placed their daddy just 2 months prior to these 2 cutie-pie's arrival at Howlin4Spirit. They were timid and scared, never having had much interaction with humans. But, are warming up nicely, and appreciating being a more integral part of our little pack, and realizing that humans can be kind, loving and gentle and have THE MOST EXCELLENT TREATS in their hands and are willing to share them with scared little dogs(especially compared to their past diet of cheap dog food and bread). Howlin4Spirit is looking for a kind WOMAN/retired with time and lots of love and patience to share with either/both of them. They would be best suited for a home with their own safe fenced-in back yard, and a tie-out cable line(for Liselle), Kayce is already coming to us, kissing our hands, always searching for yummy treats and a loving hug. We are working on our leash walking, slowly but surely. NOT GOOD/confident enough around children or other M>LG dogs. Cats OK! LUCY: dob: November 21, 2013....weighs a healthy 40lbs RESCUED from an EX-hunter(yet, he'd 'just returned from a hunting trip in N. Dakota', the day I met Lucy and took her into our rescue...JERK!) in Rutherford County, NC. Miss Lucy was bought from a breeder and kept chained to an open-ended box for 3 years prior to coming to H4S CARes. Owner 'bought her for his 5yo grand-daughter, who lost interest in her until she had a litter of puppies, which the child decided she no longer wanted Lucy, but wanted to keep one of her pups...so, they called H4S for help with the rest of the litter. We went back to rescue Lucy, when they agreed to let us take her the next day(thankfully!). Lucy tested HW+ and has undergone treatment and is now ready for her fur-ever person/people to open their hearts & home to her & is patiently waiting for her new life to BEGIN! Lucy is so willing to please her person and only wants a kind hand and love in return for her own UNconditional love and devotion. SWEET! SWEET! SWEET! SWEET! SWEET! SUPER SWEETHEART!!!!!!!! Friendly, but shy of strangers/especially men's hands...obviously has been 'strong-armed', but very respectful and nary an aggressive bone in her body. Loves kids! Looking for a LOVING, RESPECTFUL family in a rural/lake or pond environment OR a LARGE, preferring a 6' stockade fenced yard to run and play in....the more room, the happier/more contented she will be! LOVES TO HUNT SQUIRRELS!!!!!! Lived under tall oak trees, so squirrels were her main focal-point while chained up to her PAST 'home'. NOT GOOD WITH CATS!(in her mind, they are the same as squirrels). MUST be an INSIDE companion animal, and have her own soft, warm bed beside her human to sleep/rest on. NO HUNTERS & NO 'OUTSIDE LIVING' SITUATIONS need to apply! Thank you, for caring enough to consider adopting a rescued pup in need of love, respect and a warm place to lay it's head fur-ever. NALA was taken in by a young couple who realized that she was pregnant and had been abandoned in their community. They were approached by their mail carrier along her route, who keeps an eye out for dogs/pups in need of being rescued and rehomed. NALA has a genuinely sweet personality, is healthy and possesses a happy, fun demeanor. She walks well on a Gentle Leader and is housebroken and crate-trained. She is best suited for a home with a fenced-in yard, or rural setting with another medium>large fur-buddy to run and play with. Wants to be/enjoy life with her person and wants to please. Would make an excellent hiking/running buddy for an active person. NOT a couch potato, but enjoys snuggling with her people at the end of the day. Gets along well with other M>LG dogs...best with NO cats and no small people(too energetic at her young age, might knock them down).
